What is important to you? Let us know as we write our Annual Plan!

To mark one year of Our Greenwich, the council’s four-year joint vision with residents for the borough, we’re going to be out and about over the next few weeks to show our progress and get feedback on where we should be focussing.

This will help us write our annual plan, which provides an update on our 20 missions and sets out our priorities.

One of Our Greenwich’s missions is for the council to be better at listening to communities and that communities feel heard, and we’re putting that into action by establishing special phone booths with a direct line to our OG voicemail.

Every message left will be listened to and used alongside other resident feedback to shape our annual progress report to make sure we’re heading in the right direction on all our key themes.

You can have your say on Commonplace, or head to an in-person engagement event where you could even use our OG phonebooths!

Councillor Anthony Okereke, Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, said: “Our Greenwich is exactly that, it’s ours. This borough belongs to everyone and we’ve been doing our best over the last year to focus on what you told us was important.

“A lot can change in 12 months and so we want to keep this conversation going. Over the next few weeks we’re going to be on high streets, outside stations and in community spaces listening to you, and showing you what we’ve been doing.

“We want to hear from as many people as possible, so you can also leave us a message by heading to one of our OG phone booths. Tell us a bit about yourself and where you want us to focus to help shape our annual plan and the Council’s priorities for 2024-5!"
